We're Here

This was one of the best days in our lives! When we finally told Melody we were at Disneyland she screamed and gave Josh and me the BIGGEST hug and KISS ever!! It was wonderful. And then the magical day began. I have been to Disneyland dozens of times, but this was by far the best! The excitement in Melody's eye made me have a couple of "emotional mom moments"!Luke had a wonderful time too. He was so good. He would hang out next to us in the lines and had a great time on the rides. I guess he wasn't too excited about the Pirates of the Caribbean..he fell a sleep! Someone told me to bring a princess dress, because she will want to wear it. I did. I thought she may wear it for a little bit...she wore it the WHOLE day!

She is off...

Much More pictures coming soon, just had to post this before Deshawn had a cow:)

Surprise Time!

After we left the Ford's we told Melody we had a surprise for her. We checked into our hotel. Melody LOVES hotels. I think she thought this was her surprise.
Monkey see

Monkey Do!

The next morning we work up early. We had to be at our destination at 8:15am. We were walking from our hotel and wasn't sure how long it was going to take. We loaded the kids in stroller...who needs a double stroller??

Here we are! Melody still didn't have a clue where she was...until...

Thanksgiving Adventure...

After 20 hours of driving we came to our first destination...The Ford Retreat! The Fords have been a family friend since I was about 2. I haven't seen them for several years. It was so wonderful to see them.

Melody climb her first tree in the front yard of the Ford's house. We were all so proud. I remember climbing trees when I was little one, it was so much fun. Watching Melody having so much fun doing the same thing I did brings so much joy to my soul.

Jeannette took us to a lake on Sunday. The kids enjoyed it so much. Luke had a great time chasing the ducks and Melody loved feeding them.

Melody kind of likes her picture taken..can you tell?!
We left Texas on Friday after noon and arrived in Southern California Saturday morning. We stayed at Hotel Ford on Saturday night. It was by far the best hotel! Josh and Gary were able to go golf and Jeannette and I also got to go to the mall. On Sunday night we were off to our next destination...
