10 Months

On the 20th of July Luke turned 10 months. I can't believe how fast life goes by. Luke is ALL OVER the place. He is a climber. Its so out of control. Its so fun watching him play. He plays very well by himself and with his big sister. He started taking 2 steps right before the 10th month. Now he is up to about 10. He is so proud of himself. Everyday it seems he adds another step.

We've been "Mingoed"

We woke up one morning to these flamingo's!! Our church has this cute fund raiser for VBS this year. There was an envelope around one of the flamingos that had a note in it. It said for $10 some one would remove the flamingos from our yard or we could pay $20 for "Flamingo Insurance",the flamingo's would not reappear in the yard again. We also were able to tell them who's yard we wanted to be "Mingoed" next. I guess we should have gotten the insurance, we got mingoed twice! Thank you Scarr's and I think it was the Spies?!

Curley M

Melody slept in curlers for the first time, came out pretty cute!

4th of July

So I'm a little behind in some of my pictures. For the 4th of July we went to the Demaree's for BBQ. We were going to all go to Anna's first 4th of July street fair BUT we had a thunder and lightening storm roll into town right as it was starting. Luke had his first hot dog...but It didn't go so well, he puked several times. I took Luke home while the rest of the gang went to see fireworks, I was able to see them through Luke's bedroom window. The gang came back to our house so I could take part in our own fireworks show. Our neighbors across the street kept scaring me, they were shooting up the huge fireworks that go in the sky, but other than the slight heart palpitations it was a great night. Gotta love sparklers.
Isabella is such a cutie.
He is Josh's firework stand.
Not too sure what this is about but can you see the neighbor's fireworks up in the sky?!
Melody and her future husband, Warren. She always talks about how she is going to married Warren. Warren will work at McDonald's and she will become a doctor...

Community Pool

Here is the place we really love to be...We have several friends that live in the community behind us that has access to this awesome pool. Our church has "Proverbs by the Pool" on Sunday nights. We do a 15 minute study in proverbs then do a little singing then we hit the pool. Twice during the week several chickies do laps in the pool after we put the kiddos to bed. It works out wonderful. Then on Fridays we have our moms play group there. Its so fun.

Kit-Tee

Monica raises Persians kittens. Here are some cute ones. This is the first time Luke got to pet them. Melody LOVES the kittens.

Happy Birthday Josh

Today is Josh's 34th Birthday. He woke up to Krispy Kreme donuts...the off to work. Melody wanted daddy to have a Army birthday party. I bought some army dudes and trucks a couple of weeks ago. Come to find out, when Josh was tucking Melody in she said, " Daddy I have a secret, but don't tell mommy...we bought you an army birthday party." Melody got Josh some new drums sticks, she did pretty good until right before Josh started opening his cards. Melody said,"these are drum sticks"! Our friends the Scarr's and Demaree's came to help eat the huge cake.

Happy Birthday Christopher

Christopher turned 6 on Friday the 11th. Christopher had such a crazy first year of life, how awesome it is to see what a miracle he is. God does know what He is doing although we have no clue what the reason are!

Christopher party was at Chuckie Cheese, one of Melody's favorite place. They had such a great time.
Melody had a fun time showing Luke how to play on the games.
Luke riding some truck ride.

David with half of his boys! Nick and Nate are doing well. Please keep them in your prayers, they still have a long road ahead of them...kind of like the road that Christopher went down...look at him now!!

He Stands Alone

Luke is standing. On Monday he would let go of whatever he was holding on to, then fall. By the end of the week, the little guy can stand! He actually took a step and didn't fall on the 3rd. He is growing WAY to fast.

Pool Time

Melody has been practicing swimming under water. I never thought she would put her face underwater, but since Kayla does it...now she does. We have been going to the community pool behind us a lot lately. She has become a little fish. (FYI:This is NOT the community pool)
