PLEASE READ ASAP!!!

I have this neighbor who has the most adorable little girl name Emma. Emma has Fanconi Anemia. Please read this email and donate to the research a cure. But hurry they need the donation in by 1/31!! All you need to donate is $10!!!! And you can use paypal!!!!

Thanks Friends
Darlene

Dear Family and Friends –Well, let's face it, you're really just our Donation Victims at the moment…
Yes, we admit it, we're here to nag & beg you again. But before you hit delete and/or block me from your email (which by the way that is a joke, not a suggestion), please read the whole email. I'll try to keep it short.
The Charity Challenge competition is still going where the top four charities who receive the most unique donors (meaning no repeat donors) will receive a $50,000 donation at the end. The challenge will be over on January 31st at 3:00pm eastern time.
This is why we're begging you again! We need more donors in order to secure our place in the top four. Currently we are #3, and we have very few new people donating and things are moving at a crawl for us. Places #4 and #5 are close behind us and are receiving large numbers of donations each day. If they keep going at the rate they are, we will be #5 by the end of the competition and will not receive the $50,000 donation. Aahhh! I'd offer those of you who donate, something in return, such as rubbing your feet, but most of you live too far away (and I'm sure you have really stinky feet). So, hopefully our gratitude will be enough.
If you have an extra $10 laying around in your bank account, please consider donating. Here's how:
- Go here: http://www.parade.com/givingchallenge?source=pressAGC
- Choose "Fanconi Anemia Research Fund" next to Peggy's name.
- Click "Donate" on Peggy's charity badge.
- Then finish the donation process by entering your credit, debit, or PayPal info (you can enter "Emma Clifton" as who you are donating in honor of, if you'd like).
- You only need to donate $10 per person to count as a donor. If you are a couple, you both can donate $10 separately (only $20 total – be sure to do it as separate donations).
We need as many donors as possible in order to place in the top four. There are so few FA families in the USA, and we are struggling to find enough donors. It's rather frustrating to say the least! FA is difficult enough, and it can be maddening sometimes that getting money for research is such a fight since there are so few of us to raise awareness and money for it. There are only 300 FA families in the USA. So, any and all help is greatly appreciated.
If you're comfortable doing this, would you consider sending this to your family and friends as well? Find random people on the street and ask them to donate? Stop traffic and throw little paper airplanes of this email printed off into people's cars? There are so many options on how to get the word out…
Thank you to everyone who has already donated. We really, really appreciate it! We promise we don't love you just for your money. We also love you because you have really good hair and shower regularly.
Love,Terri & Tyler Clifton
PROBLEMS?If you have any problems getting it to work, here are a couple of solutions:
Turn off your pop-up blocker, if you have one.
If that doesn't work, then you most likely don't have the flash player needed. You can get that here for free: http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/-- ~Teresa~Family Website:http://cliftonclan.blogspot.com

The Flu

I have several cool post that I want to put up but unfortunately right now we all have the worst flu EVER!!! Mom went to the ER by ambulance on Thursday morning and was diagnosed with sever Flu and strep throat.
By Friday poor little Luke's nose was running and he was just looking sick. He tested posited for the flu, Melody did not.
By Saturday I felt like poo! Today is Monday, Luke is waaaay congested. I have a terrible cough and stuffy head. Mom still has a cough. Josh has a cough.
The worst part about this flu thing is that Josh flew his sister and baby Summer out for my birthday weekend...I spent it on the couch miserable!

Bike Rider

She looks so big. Here she is riding her bike. She does pretty well. She gets stuck every now and then and needs a little push...kind of make me feel like my big girl still needs me:) This is Melody's friend Warren.
Melody got tired of riding her bike so Warren picked her up...

So cute!

Train ride with a friend

I took Melody and Kaylee to the mall for some "getoutofhouse" time!

This is kind of a preview of what they will be like in 15 years! Heehee It reminders me of when I was in high school in Julies CRX...Me,Larisa and Julie...cruising

WHY!!!

I put Melody down for her nap. I thought she was sleeping, about 45 minutes later she comes down the stairs with her legs marked up with a marker, the kind you use on dry erase board. We asked her if that was the only thing she marked on, she said yes...She lied... This is the ceiling...Yeah the flippin ceiling...
Her bed spread and pillow...
and the finishing touch...the ceiling fan!!!
Oh the joy of being 3 with a marker! She got EVERYTHING taken out of her room. It has been about 2 weeks now. Yesterday she came to me out of the blue and said,"Sorry mommy for marking my room"
I think this a true apology. She will be getting her stuff back tomorrow.
P.S. Magic eraser took the paint off.

Bumbo

This is the coolest invention...Bumbo! I borrowed this pink one from a friend to see if Luke would like it. He was so darn funny looking in it. It was soooo cute! I think I took about 30 pictures, I just think it is the coolest thing since sliced pickles. I don't think I'm going to fork over the $40 for one, I'm cheap. But it is a cool little chair.

How freakin cute is that! He looks so big. On Sunday he will be 4 months...Oh today when I was talking to my long lost friend Pilar,Luke rolled over from his belly to back for the first time. He is really gettin the hang of the back to belly roll. He is turning into a rollee pollee.

Sleeping Beauties

Melody wakes up around 6am and comes into my bed and snuggles with me. She always goes go back to sleep for a couple more hours. Now that Luke is here she has to share snuggle time. She brings in "her girls" too. I have socks on Luke's hands again, his little hands get so cold. I just love sleeping baby pictures.

Jump Jump

Here is Luke's "Look at me"! He like to Jump Jump!

Look What I Can Do

This is Melody EVERYDAY, "Look What I Can Do". She jumps and dances like a ballerina. She is very proud on how high she can jump. I am very proud of her too!

Rollin Rollin

The day after Christmas Luke rolled over. It is funny watching him. Since then he has rolled over about once a day...they grow too fast!

Build A Hippo

Auntie Monica took Melody to "Build A Bear" in the mall. We have never gone in that place, always looking from the outside...what a treat! First she had to pick out what animal she wanted to build, I was surprise with the Hippo choice.
Then she went to the stuffing machine and pushed the peddle down while the hippo's insides were getting puffy, OH yeah she put a heart inside the Hippo.

Melody and Christopher are "washing" their new found friends. Before we left Melody got to pick out an outfit for the Linda the Hippo. It turned out adorable!

Santa's Gone

Well Christmas is over, the year is over. Where does time go!!!
Blessing to all of you in 2008!!!

Dougherty Christmas

In the afternoon we went over to my brothers house and had yet another Christmas. It was a great time. Monica baked a ham. It was great. The kids got a Wii, for Christmas. It was so cool. Mom and David bowled...
Josh golfed.
It was a wonderful Christmas.

Christmas Nap Time

...enough said

Christmas Morning

Before we went to bed on Christmas eve I sat up the movie camera to see Melody's reaction to her new bike. For Christmas her wants list was...A big bike, a camera and a pink computer. Well Melody came in our room that morning, and said SANTA BROUGHT ME A BIKE!!! She knows that she can't go downstairs in the morning without one of us so we were like,"What! did you go downstairs?" " No I didn't, I peeked".... from the top of the stairs. So we didn't get her first reaction of the bike, but when she did come down the stairs it was priceless!

We had SOOOO much gifts, Our family and friends spoiled us big time.THANK YOU! Melody went strong opening gift after gift. She got a little side tract here and there. Towards the end of the pile, she was done... We told her we could take a break and open them later, but some how she made it though!

Nana came over about half way through the opening.
Melody got this Cat and her 3 kittens from Grandma Gerving. They look so real. As soon as she opened them she said, "These need to go in my room." And off she went, she gave them a new home.

Luke was excited with his gift also from Grandma Gerving.

Christmas eve

We had a wonderful Christmas eve. We went to our churches candle light service, it was beautiful. When we came home we ate dinner, a little later than norm but that is how the day went. After birthday cake we opened our family tradition of opening one gift, PJ's!!!! Melody opened Luke's first. I was a little nervous on how she would react of getting PJ's, she was Very Excited that her PJ's were Ariel. I remember by the time I was about 10 I was like, " Mom, could you just give me my PJ's so I can get ready to go to bed." I hope her excitement lasts a loong time.
Luke passed out by the fire.

Josh and I had a wonderful time that night. After he got the bike together, which didn't take long at all, we watched some movies and snuggled. We are so thankful of our lives together and of our family.

cake

Instead of making cookies for santa, I thought we could make a Birthday Cake for Jesus, since Christmas is about Jesus I wanted to make sure Melody understood that as best as she could. She had a great time making the cake.
The look Melody is giving to me here is...I can do it myself momma!

This is a proud face!

Family Fire Time

Melody and Josh loves to have fires, how that we got a carbon monoxide detector, I love it too. Here is Josh's favorite time, SNUGGLE time ,with the kiddo's.

Sweet Princess Melody

This was just a "Sweet" picture of Melody. Being 3 is crazy. She is great little girl, but boy when she is bad, she is bad! (She must get this from Josh, Haahaa)

Mall Madness

The day we went to see Santa, Melody got to take a train ride at the mall, she found a little friend to ride with.
I find myself so excited when Melody discovers the simple fun things in life. At the mall there are several water areas. It dawned on me that day that I don't think Melody ever "made a wish" before. I gave her a penny, and she made a wish...

How exciting to be 3!

P.S. Her wish came true on Christmas, It was " I wish I had a camera!"
