March MADness

So Josh asked me if I wanted to get into a March Madness BasketBall Pool. It sounded fun til I learned there was 125 games and Josh wanted to watch and keep his"score chart" poster up2date at all times...It actually has been fun.

Coloring the Eggs

Melody had a great time coloring eggs. I made deviled eggs and potato salad with the eggs the next day. Melody had a fun time peeling the eggs too...while the ONE I let her, guess why I only gave her one!


I got some kit that had "puff paint" in it. It went "puff" all over the place!

Easter Bunny

So I spent $30.00 to get this picture CD of Melody and Luke with the Easter Bunny. Then I asked the people there "Could I take a picture" They said "Sure"...I was like "What the March?" I didn't know I could do that. I alway got the package just to get the darn CD. Its hard to tell which one I took and the one I spent $30 flippin bucks on..HUH!?

Hotel Needs

Melody asked for a cookie the other day and I told we are out of them, her reply "Oh there is one in my "Hotel Bag"...What is a hotel bag? "Let me show you"...Melody goes to the pantry and gets out her lunch box. Inside was the following items...Can of pineapples,can of olives,pudding snack, some magnet game pieces and... an Oreo cookie! I asked her what this was about, she said just in case we go to a hotel, if we go with Auntie Monica and David we can spend the night in a hotel...

Soooo last summer we went to Sea World with my brother and family. We stayed in a hotel. I have no idea how long ago she packed this "Hotel Bag". She is such a funny thing, and has a great memory too!

Time Flies

Wow time is just flying by! Yesterday Luke turned 6 months, Something inside of him clicked, now he can set up for long periods of time and roll over both ways! I have several pictures to post , just need to recharge the batteries so stay tuned...

Melody has always had a very large vocabulary, and sometimes the things she says just blows me away. I always forget the stuff she says but here are some recent comments in blue.

* Mom Jesus needs a hair cut.

*"Melody please make your bed" Actually that is a good idea, I'll be right back.

*Melody asked me to sing a song before I left her room, I said what should I sing about. Sing a song about the heart land, sing a song about my life. (This is a country song I have no idea she even knew.

*We were getting her PJ's on and I said Stand Up...she said Stand Up, Stand Up for the kick off. (Waaay too much football!)

SNOW!!!!

Last night Melody and I were hanging out and I heard this strange noise. When I looked outside it was hailing...alot. So we made hail snow cones...yummy. Melody took a bath, then Josh called and said his class was getting out early because of the weather. By the time he got home there was close to 2 inches of SNOW on the ground!! It was so beautiful. In the morning, Melody was so excited! She ran out side and said look at me, and started making snow Angels. I'm not too sure Luke liked it, a little to cold for him!
