36 hours in California

What a fun weekend. It went super fast but it was great to see some of my dear friends and family's faces:) When I went to the car rental the dude saw me and knew I would be a easy upgrade. But come on for only an extra $10 a day I got this car instead of a KIA (no offence to KIA drivers). I left my camera home, Carmen emailed me these...THANKS and Thanks for the good times :)

First Day of Pre-School

Here is Melody's pre-school teacher Mrs Misty. Melody started preschool the first Tuesday in September. It is amazing what she has learned already. She loves going to school, but can't wait til she rides a school bus next year. What! Next year, kindergarten?! Oh my where does time go? She is growing like a weed!
Daddy went to work late so we all could go to the first day fo school together. So sweet. And yes, she is posing with her hands. At her school that took pictures and fingerprints of us all. She has that same hand pose in her picture. What a nut!

Little Bit of Back Tracking..

So I cant believe how long it took me to post all of your vacation pictures. We have been on the go...WOW..Life is just go, go, go. So I have some cool things that I want to post ...So we going back in time, just a little bit...

7 AND 8...THESE ARE THE LAST DAYS...

So here are the last 2 days of our wonderful vacation. This was the sunrise I saw on our last morning. We were suppose to leave on Thursday, BUT because it rained on Wednesday we asked to stay an extra day...they gave us a "rainy day discount" that was great! We were so glad to be able to have One More day. This was the last night.

This was a blast! We were able to drive on the public beaches. I wish we did this earlier in the week. The beaches had the BEST sea shells! But since we were only able to have the golf cart for 2 hours we did a fast grab.

Josh found this little guy running for dear life.

The "Kids" had a great time with Crusty the Crab.

OK, this is pretty funny... So if you can remember a while ago I posted a picture of our poor coffee table. Josh sat on the glass part and it broke, pretty funny And you think he would have learned..NOPE. He sat on the glass coffee table at the condo and sure enough, it broke. But this one got fixed! Our poor coffee table still isn't fix. We just wanted to make sure that we got our deposit back, who know how much they would have charges us. So please if you have a glass table at your house and we come to visit DON'T let Josh sit on it!!!

DAY 5 AND 6

TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY IT RAINED A LOT. WE TOOK ADVANTAGE OF THE SUN AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. JOSH EVEN TRIED TO PLAY A AROUND OF GOLF...I THINK HE MADE IT TO THE 14 HOLE.
SINCE MELODY STARTED PRESCHOOL SHE HAS BEEN PRACTICING HER LETTERS. SHE WORKED ON THEM ALOT DURING OUR VACATION.
WE GOT A LITTLE BEACH TIME IN. JOSH BOUGHT MELODY A BOOGIE BOARD, SHE HAD A BLAST!
THE PICTURE OF THE FAMILY INSIDE A SHARKS MOUTH WAS OUTSIDE OF ONE OF THE STORES. MELODY WAS EXCITED TO BE IN THE MOUTH OF A SHARK.

WE ATE AT MEXICAN FAST FOOD PLACE, I THINK IT WAS CALLED PINOKEE...WELL SOMETHING LIKE THAT. ONE OF THE GUYS JOSH WORKS WITH TOLD HIM OF THE PLACE. WE DROVE TO BROWNSVILLE, WHICH IS ON THE TEXAS-MEXICO BOARDER. THERE WE SAW THE SIGN, JOSH WAS SUPER EXCITED.THEY HAD A PLAY AREA FOR THE KIDS. LUKE CLIMB UP TO THE TOP, HE IS SUCH A MONKEY...I HAD TO GO IN AFTER HIM..GOOD TIMES

SPI MONDAY

DAY 4 WAS BACK AT THE BEACH. HERE MELODY AND JOSH HITTIN THE WAVES! LUKE TRYING TO GET SOME GOLF IN.
JOSH HELPED BUILD A SAND CASTLE...WELL A SAND MOUND. LUKE HAD A BLAST TRYING TO TEAR IT DOWN. HE NEEDED A SHORT REST HERE.

YOU ALWAYS HAVE TO TAKE A "THELMA AND LOUIS" ON VACATIONS

JOSH WORKIN ON HIS SWINGTHE KIDS HAD A BLAST BURYING JOSH. FOR SOME STRANGE REASON, LUKE GOT ALL CRAZY ...HE STARTED SITTING ON JOSH'S FACE, KICKING HIM AND PULLING HIS HAIR. LUKE WAS LAUGHING, WE WERE TOO. I HAD TO PUT THE CAMERA DOWN TO HELP JOSH OUT...MAYBE HE GOT TOO MUCH SUN THAT DAY?
