They make me a mama AKA Mothers Day

Here are the two that makes me a mother! I wanted a picture with both kids in it. Melody was done with pictures by this time and turned into...well I guess a 3 year old who was done being told what to do!

We had a nice mothers day. We got up, went to church, came home BBQ'd and went to bed. Melody got me these beautiful cup cake earrings and ice cream cone earrings. Josh took her to the store and she picked them out. I can only wear them for a short time because they are so expensive they turn everything they touch green;) She was so excited to give them to me, it made my day!

Luke's Dedication

On Mothers day we dedictated Luke at church. It was a short and sweet. We feel so blessed to be able to have such wonderful children.

The Name Game

Sometimes my little perfect princess drives me NUTS! This is an example of what she does... I have been trying to get her to write her name, she keeps telling me she doesn't want to. 2 weeks ago we decorated the wrapping paper of a birthday gift. I wrote her name on it, then she said"let me do it"

Well she got most of the letters right but she "didn't have enough room to write it one line" It looks like..by-Me-lo...But its is Me(in the middle)lo(underneath) then dy(on top And the d looks like a b)...So can you see it!!??

Well I was every proud that she did this. I have been asking her to practice her name some more, Her response was this, " I will write it again when we go to another birthday party." What a stinker!!!

What a Difference A Week Makes

Luke has built up enough muscles by Army crawling to start pulling himself up on any thing or anyone...this was last Monday...then the little guys starts to CRAWL... He likes to just stand. He will hang out for a good 5 minutes, checking out his surroundings, making sure we see him.
...Plus now he feeds himself! He loves putting the food in his mouth by himself. We gave him green beans last night, he loved it.
...Sooo I finally kicked him out of our room last night. I put his crib back in his room. I cried. He slept sooo much better. He only woke up twice...3:30 then 5:00 then we started the day at 8:00!I see sleep in my future, once I stop waking up every 2-3 hours... the mamma in me.
Luke is not in his crib here but I thought it was too cute! So in one week Luke mastered The Crawl, The Stand, The Feed,and The Sleep. My baby is growing waaaaay to fast!!!
